Looking to blow off some steam? Today we are going to be looking at top 10 PC games you may want to try out. They are ranked in order of popularity as of the time of publication of this article. Note that the rank can change any time but for now this is the list:
1) Minecraft

Minecraft enables players to build virtual worlds and does not have a specific goal to accomplish. Players can choose to play for or against each other in a world. It allows you to create a community by building structures and extracting new materials. It consists of five modes which are survival, hardcore, creative, adventure and spectator. Players can choose any of these modes when creating a new world. Multi-player support is available.
2) League of Legends
Publisher: Riot Games
This game is in the Multi-Player Online Battle Arena (MOBA) category. With two teams consisting of five members, the players battle against each other controlling characters known as champions. These champions possess differing powers. League of legends has three game modes which are Summoner’s rift, All Random, All Mid (ARAM) and Team fight Tactics.
3) Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

In this multiplayer first-person shooter game, there are two sides, Counter-terrorist and the terrorists themselves. Gameplay is centered around objectives such as planting or diffusing a bomb and capturing or rescuing hostages, depending on which side you are on. Eight official modes are available and they are Danger Zone, Arms Race, Demolition, Wingman, Competitive, Casual, Flying Scoutsmen and Deathmatch
4) Grand Theft Auto V

Grand theft Auto V is set in the city of San Andreas and enables players to move around either by foot or vehicle. Gameplay is either in first-person or third-person. It progresses on a fictional story of three main characters and the heists they carry out while under pressure from a corrupt government agency and powerful criminals.
5) Valorant
Publisher: Riot Games
Set in the near future, this team based first person shooter enables players to play as one of a set of agents. There are two sides, the attacking and the defending, with each side consisting of five players. Valorant has five game modes which are Unrated, Spike Rush, Competitive, Deathmatch and Escalation.
6) Call of Duty: Modern Warfare/Warzone

This battle royale game supports up to 150 players in a single online match. Limited time modes can support up to 200 players. The game features three game modes that are Plunder, Resurgence and Battle Royale.
7) ROBLOX
Publisher: Roblox Corporation
This a free to play online gaming platform that allows players to buy virtual items through a virtual currency called Robux. Consisting of multiple genres, roblox attracts a huge following.
8) Fortnite
Publisher: Epic Games
Fortnite boasts of three different game modes which are Fortnite: Save the World, Fortnite Battle Royale and Fortnite Creative. Save the World is pay-to-play whilst Battle Royale and Creative are free to play.
9) Rocket League
Publisher: Psyonix
In this game, players control a rocket power car using it to hit a big ball towards the other team’s goal area. Think of it as soccer with the exception that the player is replaced by the rocket power car. Single and multiplayer modes are available for both online and offline gameplay
10) Apex Legends
Publisher: Electronic Arts
This online multiplayer battle royale game allows players to organize into three squads using pre-made characters called “legends”. Players can choose to play with their friends in their squad or allow to be randomly matched.
