Valentines ideas for your man

As valentine’s is approaching you may wondering what gift to get your man.  Valentine’s is a day to express and show appreciation to him. With men it is very easy to get him a gift that will warm his heart and hold you dear to his heart. The options to choose from are plenty and you don’t have to break the bank to do it.  Now it’s important to know your man’s taste and needs at this point in time to come up with a gift that will blow his mind.  Here are some ideas to work with:

1) Watch

Getting a man a watch is a great idea because when he puts it on or checks the time, he thinks of you. Depending on how techy, he is a smartwatch will also do. Slip a note or a card into the valentine package and its fireworks

2) Matching laptop bag, wallet and sunglasses

Surprise your man by giving him a matching leather laptop bag and wallet along with sunglasses. Most men have a laptop they carry out and about, to work or for fun. A wallet is good for keeping his stuff in one place in an organized manner. Sunglasses are to compliment the bag and wallet.

3) Tie set along with pin and cufflinks

Get your man an assortment of nice ties along with matching pins and cufflinks. This is a good idea when your man likes being formally dressed or goes to work where formal clothes are a must.

4) Hair grooming kit

Men have to shave regularly. Getting a hair grooming kit that consists of a trimmer with different detachable heads such as a nose trimmer and a hair clipper along with combs is a great idea. Also throw in a bottle of after shave in there.

5) Deodorant

Find a nice scent of deodorant that you love and get if for your man. You could add body wash, roll-on and hair wash to the valentine hamper and impress him.

6) Shoes and leather belt

Basic fashion rules dictate that a man’s belt should match the color of his shoes. For example, when getting your man black shoes then getting a quality black leather belt would suffice. If you find yourself picking brown shoes then a quality brown leather belt is ideal. When getting your man this gift always make sure that the belt and shoes complement each other  so that your man becomes stylish when he is out wearing the gift with you or others.

7) Romantic Dinner / Picnic

Depending on how your man feels about it, a romantic dinner/picnic where the lady is paying may not be such a bad idea. As the lady you prepare some nice food and then enjoy together with your man on Valentine’s Day with some good music in the background. They do say that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach so cook a great meal and watch as he melts into your arms. There are YouTube videos and websites a google search away that show you step by step how to cook the perfect dish. 

8) Red T-shirts or Formal Red shirt

Red is the symbol of love on valentines so why not get your man a red shirt or t-shirts. Depending on your budget you can get a both a red shirt and or custom printed t-shirts he can wear at home or whenever he feels like. They don’t necessary have to be red though. Feel free to throw your own ideas into the mix till you get the perfect gift.
